Ministries
Mission & Serving Ministries
At FMC Grandview, we believe serving is a vital part of the Christian life. We are called to love our neighbor, and that involves caring for those near and far. We seek to participate in mission and serving activities that reach people in all walks of life. We help through work projects, financial assistance, pastoral counseling, and other means. Please contact us if you or someone you love is struggling.
Mission and Serving Partners
Mission and Serving Opportunities:
Back Pack Ministry
FMC Grandview, The Talbert Foundation, Grandview Elementary, and Tarrant Area Food Bank partner together to provide nourishment on weekends during the school year for children at high risk of hunger. We also provide weekly food in the summer.
Kids for Change
Every fourth Sunday of the month the children collect pocket change from the congregation to benefit various organizations in the community. They have benefited animal shelters, Johnson County CASA, the community garden, Heifer International, and the local first responders.
Annual Community Thanksgiving Service
Every year our local churches gather to provide a Thanksgiving meal and service for our community. All food is donated and proceeds go to the Community Benevolence Fund.
Annual Lord’s Acre
Dinner and Silent/Live Auction
Fundraiser to benefit several of our community partners and mission ministries.
Blessing Box & Little Free Library
Our blessing box is located outside the office entrance on Scurlock and is reguarly stocked with non-perishable food and hygiene items. Help yourself when needed with no questions asked. "Take what you need, leave what you can, and be blessed!"
The children, youth, and adults are all involved in these acts of service! We would love to have you join us! There's a place for everyone of all ages!
