How to Volunteer

We love our volunteers and couldn't do anything without them! We also believe that we must be diligent in screening every single staff member and volunteer before they work with any vulnerable population (children, youth, elderly, special needs, etc.). So, if you would like to volunteer with us, please fill out the following short form and we will contact you to get more information. 

You will need to submit an application and we will conduct a background check. You will have to attend a one-time ministry training here at FMC, as well as an online Ministry Safe training. If this seems like a lot, it is, but it is valuable training meant to protect our participants and you from accusations. You will feel equipped and ready to serve, and more importantly, parents and caregivers can feel safe leaving their loved ones in our care. 

FMC Grandview use  the Ministry Safe guidelines, to ensure that our children and youth are able to engage in our worship and ministry opportunities with individuals who have undergone Ministry Safe training and have had a successful background check completed. The FMC Grandview Safety Committee is compromised of teh following individuals, any of whom can answer questions you may have related to teh policies and procedures for volunteering with our youth and children.
