Ministries
At FMC Grandview, we believe serving is a vital part of the Christian life. We are called to love our neighbor, and that involves caring for those near and far. We seek to participate in mission and serving activities that reach people in all walks of life. We help through work projects, financial assistance, pastoral counseling, and other means.
Please contact us if you or someone you love is struggling.
Mission and Serving Opportunities
Here are some of the community outreach opportunities that we host throughout the year!
Backpack Ministry
Through the generosity of the Tarrant County Food Bank and hard-working volunteers, we provide supplemental meals to community children.
Kids For Change
Every fourth Sunday, the children in our congregation distribute red buckets during the offering time. The extra funds collected support a designated local or international mission.
Blessing Box
Sometimes a need is unexpected, and you can't wait (or don't qualify) for official aid. Our Blessing Box is open day or night with no questions asked. Take what you need and leave what you can. Be blessed!
Golden Zebras
All Grandview seniors are welcome to join us every second Tuesday at 11:30am for a special fellowship potluck luncheon. Be a friend and bring a friend!
Little Free Library
Reading is fundamental! Stop by to pick out a book to take with you and enjoy. If you can, leave another behind to bless someone else!
Church Clean Up
Once in the spring and once in the fall, volunteers gather to trim bushes, clean windows, and generally beautify our property. All ages are welcome to come and get their hands dirty in service!
