Founded in 1853, First Methodist Church is one of the oldest congregations in Johnson County. We value worshipers of all ages and stages who seek to deepen their relationship with God through the saving power of Jesus Christ. GIVING

Following God means that we are called to be good stewards of what God has given us, including our time, talents, and finances. We have partnered with Vanco LLC to offer online giving that is easy and secure. Your faithfulness and generosity help further our ministry into the community. Thank you!

Youth Group

Our youth group is a great place for 6th-12th grade students looking to grow in faith, build friendships, and make a positive impact. Our gatherings include engaging discussions, worship, games, and community service opportunities. Come as you are and be part of a supportive and welcoming group that's all about living out God's love in everyday life.

Golden Zebras

The Golden Zebras is a ministry to serve and connect the seniors in the Grandview community. The Golden Zebras meet once a month to share a meal, a time of fellowship, usually a special activity, and a lot of fun and laughter!

High School Girls Bible Study

Join us for an inspiring and supportive Bible study group designed specifically for high school girls. Our weekly meetings provide a safe space to explore faith, build lasting friendships, and grow spiritually. Whether you're new to the Bible or looking to deepen your understanding, you'll find a welcoming community here.

Prayer Angels

The Prayer Angels meet once a week on Tuesday mornings in the Prayer Room to pray for the entire church, community, and world, as well as praying for each individual named in the bulletin and requests given to them specifically. They enjoy spending time in prayer and seeing God's work and prayers being answered!

Men's Ministry

Our men's group meets regularly to support one another in faith, discuss relevant topics, and engage in community service projects. Whether you're looking to deepen your spiritual journey or connect with other men in the church, come and be part of a brotherhood that strengthens your faith and impacts the community!

Women's Ministry

Our Women's Ministry offers a variety of activities, including Bible studies, prayer groups, and service projects, all designed to nurture your spiritual journey. Whether you're seeking deeper connections, personal growth, or opportunities to serve, you'll find a place here.

2nd Saturday of the month: FMC Women's Ministries - 8:30am
3rd Saturday of the month: Methodist Men's Breakfast 8am
4th Sunday of the month:    Kids for Change (during the worship service)
5th Sunday of the month:    Fifth Sunday Fellowship Lunch (after worship service)
